El año pasado comencé a experimentar regando unas cuantas con agua
embotellada (garrafas). En el año presente las estoy regando con agua traída
de lejos (fuente, etc.) a la que le añado un poco de ácido cítrico para
neutralizar la cal (ver El pH del substrato y la calidad del
agua) y también estoy usando un substrato creado por mí con el fin de
tener un gran volumen de aire (ver Mezclas).

During the last four years
I had serious problems with the cultivation of Fuchsias because the supply water
begun carrying marine salt. Description here.
Last year I begun experimenting in watering some of them with bottled water.
During the present year I am watering them with water carried from far away
(fountains, etc.) to which I add some citric acid in order to neutralize its
high calcium contents (see Substrate pH and water quality).
I am also using my own substrate mix in order to have a high air volume,
required for a hot climate (see Mixes).
