Han aparecido tres chupones en una maceta en la que se está formando una fuchsia en forma de arbolito (standard). Hay que arrancarlos para favorecer el crecimiento de la planta principal. Las fuchsias suelen producir chupones, especialmente si se ha enterrado más de un nudo al plantar un esqueje.


Three suckers have appeared on a pot where a standard fuchsia was being grown. They have to be removed to enable a better growth of the main plant. Fuchsias tend to produce suckers, specially if more than one knot has been buried when planting a cutting.
Cortar los chupones con sus propias raíces
Remove the suckers with their own roots
Los plantones se han colocado en substrato abonado de pH 6,5 y luego se han regado. A continuación se cubren con un bote de cristal para evitar la evaporación. El plantón grande no se puede cubrir y quizás no sobrevivirá.
They are planted in a pH 6.5 fertilized substrate, then watered. Then they are covered with a glass bell to prevent evaporation. The large one cannot be covered and perhaps will not survive.
Se dejan a la sombra (máx. 1/2 hora de sol). En una semana se destapan, se riegan y se vuelven a cubrir. En 15 días se pueden dejar destapados en el mismo lugar.
They have been left on the shade (máx. 1/2 hour sun). In a week, uncover them, water them and cover them again. In 15 days you can leave them uncovered in the same place.
